The Board Bulletin is a digest of the workings of the Mad River Glen Cooperative, published by the Board of Trustees for the benefit of our shareholders.

Welcome to this, the second Board Bulletin of the 2022/2023 ski season. Bulletins are published after Board meetings, this one after the meeting in December. (Not sure what this is? Catch up quickly by reading the first bulletin, published after the November Board meeting.)

I WANT YOU… to run for the Board!

stark we want you.jpg

There are three positions opening up this year; two (2) in-state and one (1) out-of-state.

As a Board trustee, you’ll work alongside other dedicated folks who bring their best effort to the mission of the Cooperative. We show up prepared and preparation takes time, so if you raise your hand—and we hope that you do—please do so knowing that time is required every month. (Learn more about “How it Works”.)

Note: candidates must be shareholders in good standing in order to be considered for election.

Here’s what you do next:

  1. Declare your candidacy by emailing [email protected] by Feb 14
  2. Submit your candidate bio form and questionnaire by Feb 22

“It felt great to open for the season on schedule on December 10th.”

It felt even better to pick up 2’ of snow a week later and open the main mountain with amazing conditions. Big shout out to all the staff for getting the job done in short order...

From the Management Report presented by General Manager, Matt Lillard
