With snow falling and the mountain skiing beautifully, we hope you’re able to enjoy time on the hill with friends and family — the very reason this effort matters.
20th | December 24th, 2025 | Quite the gift!
Because of this community, as of December 23rd, 944 people have stepped forward — representing about 20% of our shareholders — helping us raise over $1.57M toward protecting the land that surrounds and sustains Mad River Glen. Your generosity has moved us closer to the $2.5M required for securing 1100 acres for cooperative ownership and permanent conservation.
If everyone puts a “buck an acre” toward this challenge, the cooperative can buy the land. Some can give more, some less, but every dollar counts - and once we hit the goal, all supporters can take pride in shared ownership. Your gift ensures this land remains protected, accessible and cooperatively owned — now and for generations to come. We must raise the remaining funds by the February 7th special vote of owners to close on the property. The new target date, adjusted based on when the Purchase and Sale was signed, gives us more time, but we still have a ways to go!
