Thank you! We did it!

We are thrilled to share that, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community, we have not only met but exceeded our goal for the land acquisition. Together, we’ve raised $2.8 million for the land acquisition and on-going stewardship! Many of you have already cast your ballot for the Board of Trustees to be authorized to finance and make capital expenditures not to exceed $2,750,000 for the purpose of purchasing ~1,100 acres of land, commonly referred to as the 19th and 20th adjoining the Cooperative’s lands. If you have not cast your ballot and/or have additional questions, please join us for the meeting of owners tomorrow, February 7th on the 3rd floor of the Base Box and online.

This is a landmark achievement for Mad River Glen — and a testament to what we can accomplish together. It was made possible by gifts of all sizes, from first-time donors, shareholders, and friends around the country, and every single one made a difference.

Looking Ahead

As we mark the 30th anniversary of the Mad River Glen Cooperative, we recognize that this land acquisition is part of a larger vision. With a $5 million total goal supporting both the land and the reconstruction of the pub, we’ve already taken a remarkable step forward — together.

Thank you for helping to protect the land, preserve the spirit, and shape the future of Stark Mountain.

Charitable giving questions can be directed to Stark Mountain Foundation with common questions answered on their website.

Management Report

We continue to monitor ticket sales and pass visits to help optimize the limited capacity model. Our goal is to keep the Single Chair lift line to around 20 minutes. Some days we get it just right, others we miss the mark, but we are always looking to improve. 2026 will prove a transformative year for the Cooperative. Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, shareholders and skiers for making Mad River Glen the most special place in the ski industry.
