Wow! So much to be thankful for this past Thanksgiving. The high density snowfall blanketed the mountain. Since then, drier snow has been falling in steady bursts, providing fresh surfaces for those looking to earn their turns - and plenty have done so! It’s been great to see family and friend groups out enjoying the mountain and performing the much needed ‘human grooming’ for when the lifts start spinning this Saturday. Stoke levels aside, please make sure you review the uphill policy page and the conditions report before embarking on your next skinning mission. Please stay clear of mountain operations and never skin or step over snowmaking hoses / electrical lines even if there are tracks of folks who have already done so.
Skiers should anticipate expert only conditions this weekend with everything in play from open water, dirt, rocks, ice and of course moss & grass. The snow is soft, but so is the ground underneath. Patrol won’t be able to mark many of the hazards that exist out there. We are hopeful to have both the Single and Sunnyside Double operating between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm. Stay tuned to the website and social channels for updates.
We’re also incredibly thankful for the hard work and superb project management which ensured the double mid-station, haul rope replacement, and related maintenance was done on time and on budget. The mountain operations team has once again ensured our lifts are ready to spin for the season as soon as conditions allow.
Comments are a bit out-dated considering opening day is almost upon us (a week early!)

Busy, busy, busy! We had a very successful Fall Manager’s Meeting and it was a pleasure to welcome back our season managers and talk about our goals and passions this season. Spirits were high and I think everyone left with a positive outlook on the season.
